I am honored to be entrusted with the opportunity to care for your family and children. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma and my master’s degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. I am nationally certified as a pediatric nurse practitioner and lactation consultant. I have been in pediatric medicine as a practitioner for over 30 years in various fields of care.

I enjoy working with infants, children, and adolescents. I have many years of experience with newborn care, premature follow up, along with many medical conditions of childhood. Sharing in the growth and development of children throughout childhood has been a focus and enjoyment of my practice in pediatric medicine.
In my spare time I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and fly fishing with my husband and two older sons. Gardening and needlework are also passions I enjoy and engage in frequently.

I look forward to partnering with you and your children in their care as we empower them to attain their maximum potential in health and wellbeing.

I earned my Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee, and a Master’s of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Pediatrics from Emory University way back in the 1900’s. I have been working in general pediatrics for over 20 years now. I love every aspect of my career, from caring for my pediatric patients to building long-standing relationships with the kids as well as their families!

I have lived in Marietta for over 15 years and have 2 daughters, one in college & the other wrapping up her high school career. I have also been lucky enough to gain 3 bonus “kids,” actually all in college too, last summer when I married my handsome husband. When not working my dream job at Summit, I can be found looking for adventure hiking, camping, or just hanging out with family & friends.
